A comparison of the parameters of travelling ionospheric disturbances observed over Antarctica and Ukraine during the increase in geomagnetic activity on February 1–2, 2025 and on reference days (January 30 and 31, 2025, February 3 and 4, 2025) was carried out. The periods of travelling ionospheric disturbances for these regions were similar and ranged from 60 to 180 min, and amplitudes of ~10% in both regions occurred only during one day (February 2, 2025); on other days, travelling ionospheric disturbances over Ukraine were significantly smaller.
