A software-algorithmic approach for correcting measurement results has been developed, which enables real-time correction of the measured gas flow rate. Scientific publications on the application of methods for improving the accuracy of multi-path ultrasonic flowmeters under conditions of contamination of the measuring channel and flow conditioning elements have been analyzed. Based on the analysis of scientific studies aimed at improving the accuracy of multi-path ultrasonic flowmeters, a new structural design of a four-path ultrasonic flowmeter with identical acoustic paths has been proposed. The flowmeter was modeled in the SOLIDWORKS Flow Simulation environment. The feasibility of developing an integrated ultrasonic measuring transducer for natural gas flow rate has been substantiated based on the simulation results. An integrated flowmeter design has been proposed that eliminates the need for external straight pipeline sections and separate flow conditioners, thereby significantly reducing the overall dimensions of the system and its total cost.
