The study revealed a relationship between the phytoindicator of hemerobium vegetation and the physical properties of technozems to justify its use as a measure of restoration of a disturbed ecosystem in the process of reclamation. Plant communities were classified into beta-, alpha-euhemerobic, polyhemerobic and metagemerobic levels of anthropogenic transformation. The impact of the characteristics of the aquatic environment, morphofunctional features of water bodies and directed spatial processes on the macrophyte community of floodplain ecosystems formed as a result of water flow regulation by dam construction was assessed. It was proven that hemerobium and naturalness are indicators of ecosystem health and can be used to assess the state of aquatic macrophyte communities in floodplain landscapes under anthropogenic pressure.
