Head Makarchuk Mykola Yu., Доктор біологічних наук Registration Date 02-03-2026 Organization Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv popup.description1 The goal of the project is to increase the combat capability of units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine by creating differential technologies of psychological recovery of combatants. popup.description2 Relevance. The mental states of combatants arising during activities in extreme conditions have long attracted the attention of the scientific community, particularly in the context of repelling a large-scale invasion. In the course of performing combat missions, they are exposed to continuously acting stressors that adversely affect both their physical and mental health. The use of an interdisciplinary approach in studying markers of combatants’ mental states is determined by the complexity and multifactorial nature of the reactions and manifestations underlying them. In our view, only the integration of various dimensions (psychological, clinical, psychophysiological, and neurophysiological) makes it possible to obtain a comprehensive and objective understanding of combatants’ mental states. A thorough examination and analysis of the Mental Health Recovery System for servicemembers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine made it possible to identify problematic issues at each of its levels and once again confirmed the relevance and necessity of developing differential technologies for the psychological recovery of combatants, particularly under conditions of large-scale hostilities on the territory of Ukraine. Aim. To enhance the combat capability of units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine through the development of differential technologies for the psychological recovery of combatants. Main objectives: 1) To identify the clinical-psychological and neuropsychophysiological markers of combatants’ mental states; 2) To develop differential technologies for the psychological recovery of combatants; 3) To evaluate the effectiveness and implementation of differential technologies for the psychological recovery of combatants.
