Technical solutions have been proposed that ensure energy savings of 15–30%, a reduction in the use of non-renewable energy sources by up to 24%, and a reduction in mineral fertilizer costs by 15–30% while increasing their utilization rate to 70–95%. Field tests of the Lindsay Zimmatic sprinkler have confirmed the possibility of obtaining stable grain crop yields in the South of Ukraine that are 2–4 times higher than in rainfed conditions. A stochastic method for predicting grain crop yields has been developed, taking into account annual precipitation and irrigation volumes; the relative forecast error when using nonlinear relationships does not exceed 0.5%. An innovative sprinkler irrigation test site has been created for production testing and implementation of smart technologies. The results obtained are aimed at increasing the state's food security, reducing the energy dependence of the agricultural sector, and ensuring the sustainable development of irrigated agriculture. The implementation of the developed scientific and technical products has a positive environmental effect: reduction of greenhouse gas emissions, rational use of water resources, reduction of chemical load on soils and prevention of their degradation. The technology complies with the principles of “green” transformation of agricultural production and contributes to increasing economic efficiency, export potential and competitiveness of the agricultural sector of Ukraine.
