Technological developments will be based on the data of a comprehensive study of the structure, morphology and physical and chemical properties of the materials being created. popup.description2 The aim of the second stage was to study the optical and electrical properties of the materials obtained at the previous stage. The research was conducted using magnetic resonance, optical spectroscopy, dielectric permeability, and impedance spectroscopy methods. Photoinduced phenomena (photochromic effect and photoconductivity) in Bi12SiO20 crystals were measured and analyzed. The dependence of these effects on the type of dopant and temperature was revealed. In the lithium-sodium tetrahermanate crystal LiNaGe4O9, the electronic paramagnetic resonance of Mn4+ ions and optical absorption spectra were studied. Analysis of the results indicates a second-order ferroelectric phase transition in the LiNaGe4O9 crystal. The influence of phase composition and size effects on ionic conductivity in LiNaGe4O9 glasses and glass ceramics has been determined. The optical absorption and photoluminescence spectra of grown and heat-treated single crystals of sodium-bismuth titanate Na0.5Bi0.5TiO3 have been studied. The physical causes of trigonal and tetragonal distortions of oxygen octahedra in the crystal lattice of Na0.5Bi0.5TiO3 have been established. The influence of the photonic crystal structure of synthetic opal on the luminescence spectrum of the laser dye rhodamine 6G has been established. The possibilities of practical application of the studied compounds in solar energy converters and energy storage devices have been investigated. The results of the research are presented in seven articles published in Scopus and WoS journals with quartiles Q1 and Q2, two articles in professional publications of category “B”, as well as in abstracts of reports at international and all-Ukrainian conferences.
