Head Dziuba Anatoli P., Доктор технічних наук Registration Date 05-03-2026 Organization Oles Honchar Dnipro National University popup.description1 The purpose of the work is obtaining new mechanical effects and deepening knowledge about the processes of destruction and loss of load-bearing capacity of power elements of modern technology and biomechanics by conducting systematic large-scale experimental studies of the behavior of shell, lamellar, continuous deformable bodies under the action of extreme static, local shock and thermal loads, and on this basis the construction new approaches to the development of both means of destruction and methods of ensuring the strength and reliability of power structural elements. popup.description2 A device for local electrothermodynamic loading of structures has been developed, which allows for the destruction of models of thin-walled structures of various shapes and at any location on their surface and provides the ability to create local heterogeneity and regulate the energy of the pulsed electrothermodynamic loading.Based on the created device, a setup and methodology for experimental research into the influence of surface damage on shell element models under the action of point thermal (laser) loading have been developed. The results of experimental tests of the bearing capacity and failure processes of models of pre-longitudinal compressed cylindrical shells depending on the magnitude of the force load, energy and distance of the point thermal and electrothermodynamic load from the shell surface were obtained. Experimental studies of the destruction of previously statically loaded cylindrical shell models with the accumulation of damage in the form of an increase in the hole and the accumulation of randomly located cuts-cracks on its side surface were conducted. Finite element modeling was performed and results were obtained of the processes of high-speed penetration of bullet-shaped weapons into a material that simulates the properties of biological tissues. A methodology for applying artificial intelligence elements (machine learning algorithms) has been developed to analyze experimental data from studies of the processes of loss of stability of thin-walled shell structures during the accumulation of damage in the form of holes and cracks of various numbers, sizes, and locations under various types of static loading. The results are presented in the form of fracture patterns and dependences of the magnitude of critical loads on the parameters of damage accumulation. Product Description popup.authors Alla Y.
