A phylogenetic analysis of model groups of flora and fauna was carried out, in particular, free-living soil nematodes of the order Dorylaimida (Enoplia), microarthropods of the family Acerentomidae (Protura), Paleogene and modern insects (Anteritorna & Posteritorna: Ephemeroptera), for which new taxa were described. The main phylogenetic trends of the Paleozoic ichthyofauna and fossil gastropods of the families Purpurinidae, Maturifusidae and Pseudotritoniidae are described on the basis of the analysis of the stock collections of the State Museum of Natural History of the National Academy of Sciences. The features of taxonomy and spatial distribution of endemic vascular plants in the Ukrainian Carpathians were studied, and the taxonomic and phenetic diversity of the anthropochoric component of regional malacocomplexes of Ukraine was described. For model groups of microarthropods (Collembola, Oribatida), the ratio of phyletic and typological aspects of the formation of taxocenes was studied.
