Head Sidey Vasyl I., Кандидат хімічних наук Registration Date 09-03-2026 Organization Uzhhorod National University State Higher Educational Institution popup.description1 The aim of the project is to develop the fundamentals for finding and obtaining the new lead-free hybrid materials with a perovskite structure based on the quaternary heterocyclic cations and chalcogenhalide anions, in order to create the new functional materials for solar energy conversion. popup.description2 The scientific project aims to obtain new alternative materials based on hybrid organic-inorganic chalcogenhalide perovskites A2BX6 (where A is a quaternary heterocyclic cation, B is a tetravalent chalcogen, and X is a halogen) for solar energy applications; optimisation and development of technological conditions for the synthesis of these compounds based on DFT, QSPR and energy-saving approaches; comprehensive study of their structural, mechanical, electrical and optical properties. Within the framework of the project, quaternary salts of azoles and azines, which are synthetically readily available and technologically feasible, were used as precursors of the organic component A. Heterocyclic cations were obtained by a powerful and well-developed method of electrophilic intramolecular heterocyclisation. Tetravalent selenium and tellurium were used as chalcogen B; bromine and chlorine were used as halogen X. Based on the accumulated array of empirical data on quaternary 1,2,4-triazolium salts (cation A) and TeBr6 anion (BX6), an effective QSPR model was developed based on the relationship between the structural parameters of the studied materials and their properties, which will allow rationalising the search for candidate compounds of target organic-inorganic perovskites A2BX6.
