The research focuses on Bukovinian literature and folklore in the context of Ukrainian literary development from ancient times to the present day. In particular, it considers literary and folkloric texts and studies. The study focuses on the poetics of artistic texts, individual style of the writer, literary personalities, traditional images and symbols, and the development of literary and folklore studies. The work aims to study nationwide trends in the Ukrainian literary and folkloric processes, as well as their regional features in Bukovina. The research methods – biographical, cultural-historical, comparative-historical. During the course of the study, a multifaceted analysis of Ukrainian literature in Bukovina was conducted within the framework of the national literary process. Particular attention was given to patriotic, Ukrainian-centric themes in the artistic creativity of Ukrainian writers, with the work of Ukrainian writers from Bukovina being studied in detail. The literary lexicon of Y. Fedkovych was analysed, as were the connections between his work and Ukrainian folklore and his work in the geographical society. The stylistic features of O. Kobylianska's work were examined, as was her preparation of the novella V nedilju rano zillia kopala for its first film adaptation. Her work in the field of literary translation was also analysed. Various aspects of the work and creativity of Ye. Yaroshynska, V. Kobyliansky and M. Ivasiuk were also studied.
