The practical results obtained from the implementation of AtlasCopco, AtlasCopRod, EpiROC drilling rigs in the Yeristovsky and Malynsky quarries of Ukraine, the assessment of specialists showed their high productivity and efficiency of work, which indicates their promising application. The drilling speed of ROC-L8 and Atlas COPROD® machines is 3-4 times higher than the drilling speed of SBU-125 machines and twice as high as SBSh-250MN. The results of the operation of AtlasCopco machines with downhole pneumatic hammers and Atlas COPROD® with remote hydraulic hammers confirmed their effectiveness in drilling wells, especially in conditions of strong and ultra-strong rocks. The designs of drilling rigs, automation of the drilling process control allows drilling with optimal modes, and allow drilling not only vertical, but also wells at an angle of 0 - 90 degrees. The machines provide high drilling accuracy with a borehole diameter of 85 to 315 mm and a depth of up to 59 m. with automatic feed of drill rods. The disadvantage is the high cost of drill bits, high requirements for the quality of the working fluid and service of the machines. The results obtained create a scientific and technological basis for further improvement of technologies and introduction of highly efficient drilling machines AtlasCopco, AtlasCopRod, EpiROC based on modern drilling technologies and their successful introduction into industrial use.
