Registration Date 12-03-2026 Organization National Technscal University of Ukraine "Kiev Polytechnic Institute". popup.description1 Increasing productivity and reducing the cost of manufacturing products by improving existing and creating new material machining technologies popup.description2 In accordance with the list of expected results of the plan for the implementation of the initiative research and the procedure for their implementation at the first stage, the following results were obtained: ▪ scientific research was conducted in the field of machining parts by cutting, the significance, and relevance of which are confirmed by a completed dissertation dedicated to solving the problem of vibration occurrence during milling with end mills on CNC machines; ▪ the developed technology for stabilizing contour milling ensures a significant increase in productivity and machining accuracy. The process stability reduces tool wear and energy consumption, which is confirmed by the completed dissertation; ▪ mathematical modeling of machining processes was carried out, aimed at optimizing productivity, improving the quality of the machined surface, and avoiding vibrations; the research results meet global multidisciplinary requirements, as confirmed by publications in scientific professional journals of Ukraine and in journals indexed in the Scopus scientometric databases; ▪ results of the developments at the global level were presented at the international competition Sustainable Composite Design Competition 2024 and at the Sikorsky Challenge 2024 startup festival. Scientific research has been implemented in manufacturing processes in the machine-building industry at enterprises in Ukraine, as confirmed by the relevant implementation acts. During the reporting period, software for the automated design of technological processes was developed, namely: applied computer programs "Rigidity of Technological Processing System," "Wear of Cutting Tools," "Overall Machining Uncertainty," and "Probabilistic Analysis of the Accuracy of Machining of Parts," which have been integrated into the educational process.
