Data on toxicological, organic and radiation pollution of the aquatic environment of the Zaporizke Reservoir were obtained, and the main factors affecting the ecological state of the reservoir and biodiversity were also identified. Experimental studies of the impact of substances of military origin, in particular 2,4,6-trinitrotoluene (TNT), on the physiological state of aquatic organisms were conducted. The features of cellular reactions of the hemolymph of the marbled crayfish Procambarus virginalis have been established, which indicates the possibility of using this species as a bioindicator of toxic pollution of aquatic ecosystems. Physiological and biological and ecological studies of plant and animal species that are under the influence of or have suffered as a result of anthropogenic impact and war have been conducted. Reintroduction analytics have been carried out as the main tool for ecological rehabilitation of phytocenoses of disturbed ecosystems; the main criteria for successful reintroduction have been established. Reintroduction in the territories of the nature reserve fund, which are centers of preservation of rare flora and require priority reconstruction after the impact of hostilities, requires special attention. A list of plant and animal species that are at risk due to the transformation of natural biotopes and can be recommended for reintroduction has been formed. Biological and ecological characteristics of species that are important for the restoration of biodiversity of disturbed ecosystems have been determined. A methodology for determining ecological conditions and biological capacity of ecosystems after the impact of military operations has been developed based on a combination of hydrochemical analysis and biotesting using different groups of aquatic organisms.
