The purpose of the work is to analyze the existing driving and test cycles of special machines, study and determine the average and maximum pressure on the soil of special continuous-action earthmoving machines, determine the conditions and ways to ensure the stability of their operation when subjected to transverse forces. Research methods are theoretical analytical calculations of fuel consumption of vehicles, mathematical modeling of the interaction of the crawler engine with the soil support surface. To ensure the accuracy of the assessment of fuel efficiency, environmental indicators and productivity of transport construction machines, it is necessary to create specialized test cycles that take into account the real conditions of their operation. A method is proposed to limit the pressure on the soil under the tracks and the boundaries of the machine in a certain range by changing the working pressure in the hydraulic cylinders of the working soil-developing working equipment of the machine. The conditions for maintaining the stability of the machine (preventing it from slipping when working on a slope) were determined by calculation.
