The use of collagen, chitosan, and gelatin ensures low toxicity and high biocompatibility, reducing the risk of rejection or irritation when in contact with damaged tissues. The regularities of the influence of several parameters - the ratio of components, the nature of structuring agents, the temperature, and pH of the medium - on the conditions of formation and properties of the obtained gels have been established. Optimal ratios have been determined that allow achieving a balance between high mechanical indicators and the sorption capacity of model biological fluids. The developed method of incorporating essential oils (tea tree, lavender, etc.) into the hydrogel matrix allows the creation of means with prolonged release of active components, providing an antiseptic and calming effect. The obtained hydrogel systems are filled with drugs (antibiotics of the tetracycline series, painkillers, etc.). The release of these drugs was studied, and the effectiveness of their use as antiseptics and painkillers was proven.
