The purpose of the work is to substantiate the mechanism of preventive adaptability and develop practical recommendations for proactive scenario modeling for logistics enterprises, which will ensure their viability and sustainable development in a turbulent environment. Research methods include: a systems approach — to study the structure of the adaptive mechanism; the scenario analysis method — to develop options for the course of events; statistical analysis — to assess the impact of adaptation on financial stability; and the graphical method — to visualize the architecture of the preventive cycle. As a result of the research, it has been established that the transformation of the existing management system is necessary to ensure the preservation and development of SMEs in frontline regions. Based on the research results, a detailed algorithm for the adaptive mechanism of the enterprise management system has been developed. It includes the mandatory digitalization of all stages considered, which is a critically important step for the development of the enterprise and its adaptive capacity. The algorithm is focused on optimizing all elements of the management system to strengthen the adaptive potential of enterprises in the face of radical shifts. The implementation of the proposed adaptive mechanism by SME entities will ensure their proactive adaptation during the period of large-scale transformations during the post-war reconstruction of Ukraine's economy and will enhance resilience to challenges.
