This makes it possible, instead of destroyed and heavier span structures, to manufacture and install lighter and cheaper ones, thereby reducing the time and cost of restoring structures. The scientific foundations of a new scientific-methodological complex for the quantitative representation of technogenic changes in rock masses are established, using a set of components that determine the selection and calculation of engineering measures to counteract the consequences of degradation of soil foundations of bridge structures and the stability of bridge-adjacent slopes. Strength conditions of composite elastomer-cable stay ropes are determined in the presence of deviations in their attachment to bridge structures and breaks in reinforcement elements. Structural requirements for bridge pylons and spans under conditions of using composite elastomer-cable stay ropes are substantiated. On this basis, technical solutions for the restoration of bridge structures using composite stay ropes are developed and justified. A comprehensive hydro-geomechanical model for monitoring and predicting the stability of degrading soil masses is substantiated, and scientific foundations are developed for ensuring the sustainable use of territories with potentially hazardous soil massifs.
