Khmelnytsky, "Lychakivsky" with the memorial complex "Hill of Glory"; geological monument of local importance park "Kortumova Hora" and botanical monument of local importance "Forest Park "Pohulyanka". popup.description2 The report presents a scientific justification for changing the boundaries (clarifying the boundaries and updating the area) of the objects of the nature reserve fund (NRF) of the Lviv city territorial community - parks-monuments of landscape art "Na Valakh", named after Ivan Franko, "Zalizna Voda", "Vysoky Zamok", "Lychakivsky", including the memorial complex "Pahorb Slavy", "Park of Culture and Recreation named after B. Khmelnytsky", the geological natural monument "Kortumova Hora", as well as the botanical natural monument "Lisopark Pohulyanka". A retrospective analysis of regulatory legal acts and planning and cartographic materials for the period 1960–2025 was performed, which allowed us to trace the stages of the formation of the Parks' boundaries and to clarify the reasons for discrepancies in statistical data.Based on the analysis of the objects, taking into account their environmental, socio-economic and cultural value (dendrological composition, the presence of age-old trees, floristic and faunal diversity, including the presence of species protected at the regional, national and international levels, as well as the identification and assessment of problems requiring intervention, including those caused by human activity in the surrounding areas, their ranking by the degree of impact on the objects. The strategic role of the analyzed territories as connecting links in the ecocorridors of the local econetwork of the Lviv MTG was determined. The results of the work justified the change of boundaries for 8 objects of the NPF of local importance, including the memorial complex "Hill of Glory". It was established that in most cases the adjustment of their area is a technical clarification of the boundaries, due to the transition to digital measurement methods and the elimination of discrepancies in planning and cartographic materials of the last century.
