Waste, on the one hand, pollutes the environment, and on the other hand, becomes (with certain processing) a valuable "secondary" raw material for production. Thus, production acquires a new function - resource formation. This perspective of changing the perception of production tasks requires research into the necessary adjustments when creating appropriate automation systems. The aim of the work is to increase the efficiency of technological processes and production, resource conservation, and reduce the impact on the environment by creating computer-integrated control systems. The objects of research were technological processes in the chemical, biochemical, food, construction, processing, pharmaceutical, and other industries. The objects of research were mathematical models, algorithms, and facility management systems that will contribute to the implementation of the principles of resource conservation and reduction of negative impact on the environment. As a result of the work, the possibilities of implementing resource conservation strategies and protecting working areas and the environment using methods and means of automatic and automated control were considered; mathematical modeling of technological facilities of various industries with features that require profiling as resource-efficient and clean was performed; algorithmic and software support for computer-integrated control systems for various industries, in the future as resource-efficient and clean, was developed.
