The report presents the results of research into the impact of the operation of the shipping channel on the state of the ichthyofauna of the Danube and the adjacent part of the Black Sea based on the generalization of archival and statistical departmental materials and field ichthyological observations as part of the ichthyological monitoring of works during the operation of the deep-sea shipping channel (DSC) Danube-Black Sea along the mouth of the Bystre in 2024, with calculations of compensation payments by quarters in 2024. In the 2nd quarter of 2024, dredging work was carried out on the sea approach channel in a total volume of 6,165.95 m3. Soil storage was carried out on a sea underwater dump. The work was carried out in the period from 01.04 to 08.04.2024, which completely coincided with the effect of the spawning ban on the fishing of glossa flounder (Appendix 2). In the 3rd quarter of 2024, operational dredging was not carried out on the MPK of the GSH (Appendix 3). In this regard, an assessment of the negative impact on ichthyofauna and the calculation of compensation payments for the 3rd quarter were not carried out. In the 4th quarter of 2024, dredging work to restore the design depths of the GSH was carried out on the sea approach channel in a total volume of 10,200.0 m3. The soil was stored on a marine underwater dump. The work was carried out in the period from 01.10.2024 to 31.12.2024.
