Zabolotny of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine popup.description1 Study of biological properties of pharmacopoeial strains popup.description2 The object of the study were the reference strains Candida albicans UKM Y-2681 (ATCC 10231), Escherichia coli UKM B-926 (ATCC 8739), Bacillus subtilis UKM B-901 (ATCC 6633), Pseudomonas aeruginosa UKM B-900 (ATCC 9027), Staphylococcus aureus UKM B-918 (ATCC 6538), Aspergillus brasiliensis UKM F-16693 (ATCC 16404), Enterococcus hirae (Streptococcus faecalis) UKM B-915 (ATCC 10541), Salmonella enterica subsp. enterica serovar Abony UKM B-921 (NCTC 6017). Thus, the main characteristics of the corresponding reference cultures used for quality control of medicinal products were confirmed in the studied microorganisms. After the work is completed, the indicator strains are lyophilized and transferred to the customer with passports indicating their origin, conditions of maintenance and storage, biological properties and purpose of use according to the State Pharmacopoeia of Ukraine.
