Zabolotny of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine popup.description1 Study of biological properties of pharmacopoeial strains popup.description2 The object of the study were the reference strains Escherichia coli UKM B-906 (ATCC 25922 (F-50), Salmonella enterica subsp. enterica serovar Abony UKM B-921 (NCTC 6017), Bacillus subtilis UKM B-901 (ATCC 6633), Staphylococcus aureus UKM B-918 (ATCC 6538), Pseudomonas aeruginosa UKM B-900 (ATCC 9027), Candida albicans UKM Y-2681 (ATCC 10231), Candida utilis UKM Y-984 (LIA 01), Aspergillus brasiliensis UKM F-16693 (ATCC 16404). Thus, the main characteristics of the corresponding reference cultures used for quality control of medicines were confirmed in the studied microorganisms. After the work was carried out, the indicator strains were lyophilized and transferred to the customer with passports indicating their origin, maintenance and storage conditions, biological properties and purpose of use according to the State Pharmacopoeia of Ukraine.
