The purpose of the research work: to identify current problems of the internal control system of public procurement participants and to develop scientific and practical recommendations for their solution as a tool for increasing the efficiency, transparency and effectiveness of public procurement participants. During the implementation of the research, studies were conducted on the role and functions of internal control in the public procurement system; an analysis of the characteristics of the business entity's activities, the formation and use of an applied model of internal control of a public procurement participant with a scientific conclusion were carried out, and possible directions for increasing the efficiency of enterprise management were investigated based on recommendations for the implementation of an applied model of internal control of a procurement participant. The results obtained in the process of implementing the research formed the basis of scientific and methodological recommendations for the formation of possible ways to improve the development and evaluation of the internal control system of public procurement participants, which will allow increasing the level of transparency, reliability of management information, preventing violations and ensuring the efficient use of resources in the process of participating in procurement.
