The object of the scientific work is the processes of electricity conversion in the elements of autonomous electric power systems based on photovoltaic converters. The subject of the research work is topologies, models and methods of controlling power converters, which are part of autonomous power systems based on photovoltaic converters. popup.description2 Within the reporting stage, a comprehensive set of scientific studies and engineering developments was carried out to enhance the efficiency of autonomous power supply systems based on renewable energy sources. A 15 kW photovoltaic panel array with a seasonally adjustable tilt angle was designed and installed, ensuring optimal solar energy utilization throughout the year. A low-power DC socket wireless energy transfer technology was developed and tested in cooperation with Tallinn University of Technology. Advanced simulation models were created for analyzing transformerless modular DC-DC converters, onboard power systems, and quasi-impedance converters, enabling accurate performance prediction and operational optimization. Experimental studies were conducted to evaluate the efficiency of inverters and DC-DC converters, as well as to assess power quality in specialized shipboard systems. The obtained results have been integrated into the educational process for training power engineering specialists and used in international research in cooperation with NREL, USAID, and the U.S. Department of Energy. The practical value of the developments lies in their potential application for restoring and strengthening the resilience of critical infrastructure power supply, including under emergency conditions or in remote locations.
