The aim of the study is to conduct a comprehensive analysis of the legal framework for innovative approaches to the development of environmental law and legislation under martial law and in the context of overcoming the consequences of Russian aggression in Ukraine, taking into account the concept of sustainable development, environmental safety requirements and the ‘green’ modernisation of the economy during Ukraine’s reconstruction. Examination of the theoretical and legal aspects of attracting green investment for Ukraine’s recovery. Research and scientific justification of the innovative components of an environmentally balanced economic recovery of the country, in particular, methodologies for determining eco-innovative performance within the concept of innovation development; digitalisation and environmental cooperation as priorities for the scientific and technological development of EU countries and Ukraine.
