The aim of the work was work out scientific basis and technological condition of obtained protective diffusion covers on the boride basis. The methods of analysis were metallography, acousticodurametric. The main results of this work were worked out new method of formation wear resistance one and two compounds boride covers. The structure-phase conditions, physical-mechanical and operational properties of the boride covers were studied.
