Methods: single and chronic irradiation, chronic situation stress (CSS) and chronic cold stress (CCS). Methods of investigaton: measurement of hormone levels in blood (fluorometric and radioimmunologic methods), measurement of membrane potential of adrenocorticocites, measurement of indices of lipid peroxidation in some organs and tissues (method of spontaneous chemoluminiscence and other), indices of physical endurance - duration of keeping an animals on inclined plane, behavion reactions (method of open field). There were fixed age-associated reactions in such conditions. Increase of 11-OCS level in blood uncler conditions of CSS during 1,5 mo. in adult animals was accompanied by enhancement of physical endurance and motility and in old ones- by their depression. Single and chronic irradiation had negative influence on determined indices, which was manifested mostly under additional loadi ng by CSS. CCS led to hypothyrosis and sensibilisation of animals to irradiation, which was move apparent in old rats. Field of use: experimental and clinical medicine.
