The experience of uranium ore reprocessing wastes(tailings) usage has been analysed, relevant standards and specifications and other information concerned have been considered and proposals concerning standard documentation for use of radiation safe filling technology have been developed together with a list of relevant documents. Results of test of filling mixtures specimens (age of 7 and 28 days, 3 and 6 months) by compresion and bending were obtained. In the mixtures containing cement as a binding agent and HMP's wastes with crushed rocks as a filling agregate, the acid tailings provide more strengt stowi ng, than neutralized those do. Those specimens of filling mixtures, which have the most acceptable content in term of strength were researched regarding the radiation parameters as emanation ability, filtration coefficient and leaching coefficient for uranium, radium. Especial consideration was given to radiation safety at working places while managing the filling mixtures with HMP's wastes.
