The classification of these events on four categories of accidents sequence precursors (ASP) has been realized. The representative events fully reflecting the particularity of every ASP category and including the equipment malfunctions and/or personnel errors, which affect on a process of the reactor transferring into a safe state, have been selected. The quantitative assessment of operational events with application of the ASP models has been executed. Taking into account results of the quantitative assessment, the prescriptions directed to Ukrainian NPPs safety increase have been created and substantiated. Results of the present work will be utilized by Nuclear Regulatory Administration under realization of activity in a framework of system for operational safety level assessment.
