Mineral content, surface specific weight, porosity, correlation between the concrete main components have been investigated. The analyses of factors, which have an influence on concrete bio-corrosion have been fulfilled under literary data available. It is shown that porosity of concrete surfaces which can come into contact with outside environment has a determinative meaning while microorganisms growing and developing on these surfaces. If high environmental alcalinity existent on a concrete surface can influence the microorganisms development, it is not their limiting factor of growing.
