The epidemic outbreak of mediterranean spotted fever in Crimea was studied for the first time and unknown centre of it were discovered, the active character of epidemic procces of Volynica fever was confirmed. Main directions of control for epidemic typhus and Q-fever were determined with the registration of peculiarity the epidemic manifectations of them. Two new diagnostic preparations and two antipediculus remedies - on the world level - were developed and aprobated. The system of organising-metodical plan arrangements (Ministry of Health order, metodical instructions, harmarticle, industrial reglament) was proposed and inculcated in practic with the goal of unification, improvement of the quality and the rise effectivity of laboratory control of the rickettsiosis in Ukraine.
