This allow to reduce utilities consumption. Volume of natural gas to obtain 1 Gcfl of steam is reduced by 10 m3 under normal conditions against design parameters which are equivalent to 26,2 nm3 to obtain 0,187 Gcal of steam. Electric power consumption is reduced by 5,8 rWh per 1 t of ready product. The use of steam calciner for heating allowed mild drying of monohydrate preventing its crystals from breaking with formation of dust particles and provided for obtaining of dense soda with more uniform particle distribution.
