The subject of research is analysis of the manifestations and perspectives of regionalizm in political process of modern Ukraine. It is important to define the essence of category "region" in territorial and political origination of Ukraine; the factors regionalization; the mechanisms regulating regional development ; interaction central and local powers; the role of regions in formation central intutions. The goal and main tasks of research consists in answer principal question: "What is regionalism for state building - destroying power or base of development?" To answer question it is necessary to systematize conceptual perspectives of research regional problems, to define correlation European regional tendencies and regional development of moder modern Ukraine, to consider of models of state organization regionalized countries and to define possibility its introduction in Ukraine. The methods of research are the method of structure -functional analysis, analytic-integrated method, comparative method and also sociological methods - analysis of documents, second interpretation of information. The results of research could introduce for farther researches of regional development, could service as recommendations for formation the conception of state regional policy, mechanism of formation and function second hous of parliament and also could use in lecturing.
