Karazin popup.description2 An object of researches is the gas-aerosol release that accompanies of NPP maintenance VVER-1000 reactor equipped. A release propagation leads to the environment pollution and to additional population exposure, therefore a need is existed to check a composition of radioisotopes in NPP release and also to control of the environment pollution with fission isotopes. The specific object of researches is the radiation from release components that can be used for their identification and measuring. This is added with a problem of remote control of fission materials which can occur in the environment by non-controlled manner. The aim of the work is to prove an opportunity of the method developing for NPP release monitoring, that will be an additional to an existed one and will be based on without sampling gamma-spectroscopy method and also to propose a method for remote control of fission materials. A research method consists of the assessment of radioisotope radiation, that is transported inside gas-aeroso l filter piping system of VVER-1000, and an analysis of opportunity of an existed gamma-spectrometer using for release radiation measurement. During this stage beta spectra and gamma lines were defined, the intensities of lines were connected with a specific volume activity of release component and conditions were achieved for coaxial Ge(Li) detector using for measuring at special pointed points. Background conditions and experimental geometry have been studied. An opportunity of remote control has also been researched for fission materials that are placed in casks or another coating and used or transported without needed permission. The results achieved make possible to shift to the next stage of a project - methods development of mathematical processing of spectroscopic information for identical restoration of the release composition.
