The identification of genotype of common wheat variety is necessary for breeding and seed production as well as to protect the rights of cultivar originators. The traditional methods for variety identification, which based on morphologycal traits are complexity, labour intehsive and have dependence from environmental influen ces. The goal of this work was to devise a certification system of common wheat genotypes using molecular markers. Based on RAPD and SSRP-analyses of wheats of different ecological-geographical origin, the procedures for composing genetic formulas and their certification have been elaborated. The proposed technologies make it possible to use genotype formulas in State registration of cultivars, to control the adequacy of documentation and to conduct laboratory approbation of crops at any plant growth stage.
