The criteria of classification of competitive conditions, factors are made out which define state of competitive environment of the obtaining enterprises in economy of Ukraine. The ways and tools of competitive changes are defined which are most effective in conditions of transitory economy. The possibility of use of results situation of the analysis of the enterprise in market space as one of the main tools of management of competitiveness of the mining enterprise is reasonable. The method of an estimation of competitiveness of the mining enterprises founded on a rational parity of expenses on situation the analysis of the market of merchandising and possible profits of the enterprise on realization of the goods is developed. The particular features of coal production and areas are analyzed which objectively cause features of a technique an establishment of competitiveness of the mining enterprises. The ordering of major factors is carried out which realize influence on competitiveness of coal production in Ukraine. The structure of the coal market in Ukraine is analyzed and are carried out of allocation of the separate regional markets, where the Ukrainian coal has chances to become competitive under the price.
