Pinus pallasiana D.Don has been found to have sufficiently high tolerance under industrial environmental pollution, it preserves the main introduction genetic potential of this species' native populations and can be used for entended forest cultivation in the steppe region. Negative impact of pollutants on the reproductive function of Pinus pallasiana D.Don at the Azov Sea Coast is linked with the surplus death of ovules at the progamic and syngamic stages of development. The genetic analysis has been performed, genetic structure of Pinus cembra L., Pinus mugo Turra in the Ukrainian Carpathians, P. pityusa Stev. and P. kochiana Klotzsch ex C. K och in the Crimea being studied. The analysis of alleles' segregation in genotypes of plants from two geographically isolated P. pityusa Stev. populations confirms that versions revealed are mainly inherited as monogenous traits. Variation has been researched, differentiation and subdivision of four native relict populations of Pinus sylvestris L. in the Ukrainian Carpathians has been determined. Evolutionary kindred interrelations and distinctions between Pinus mugo Turra, Pinus sylvestris L. and Pinus cembra L. and also between Pinus pallasiana D.Don and Pinus sylvestris L. have been elucidated.
