The aim of the work is to study polarization and non-linear processes of interaction of microwave and optical band electromagnetic fields with metals and dielectrics using the holographic methods. Methods of the research are analytic estimations and digital simulation. A theoretical study of processes of interaction of microwave and optical band electromagnetic fields with substance has been made. On the basis of digital simulation the possibility to determine optical characteristics of reflecting surfaces using optical holograms formed in the optical band is established. The methods of optical Hartley hologram formation for objects with complex reflection functions are proposed. It is shown that using Hartley holograms it is possible to determine reflection coefficient value in local points of investigated object The method for determination of belonging of reflection surfaces to different classes of materials (dielectrics, metals, semiconductors) as well as belonging of metals to different groups using the analysis of plots of dependence of ratio of holographic image and photographic image intensities on incident angle with regard to conductivity electron structure for metal surfaces is developed and studied. A possibility to holographic radio-images of collection of localities on object surface with non-linear radiowave scattering in the microwave band at the ranges up to several tens of meters is substantiated. It is shown that application of microwave holography polarization metering should allow raising reliability of determination and localization of these localities.
