Head Bozhkov A..Shamraj S., Registration Date 06-05-2001 Organization Kharkov National University named after V.N.Karazin popup.description2 The aim of work was the invastigations of the natural humus effect on initial stages of seedling grows of summer barley,cucumber and pepper of different cultivars ,the determination of super optimal temperature and induced thermotolerance influence on water balance peculiarities connected to plan grows by cell wall expansion :the investigation of interconnecnions between copper ion accumulation in shoots and roots of barley ,distribution of the heavy metal between plant compartments and some indexes of water balance. As a result of the investigation it was established that the natural humus extract simulated the growth and development of barley ,cucumber and pepper ,first of all by causing length and dry weight increase of upground of the agricultures.The investigations showed that heat shock led to water content decrease in barley tissues and cell wall free space alkalization ;the thermolerance induction led to water content and pH preservation on the control level . The results of work discovered that under the conditions of copper accumulation in shoots and roots copper cumulated predominantly in protoplasts and then in Donnan spase of cell walls in roots.In the control plants both in shoots and roots nuclei accumulated copper most of the all subcellular fraction .As the copper concentration increase in the medium the overdistribution occurred:cjpper content in nuclei decreased but increased in the other organelles,espessially in cytosol.So, the moving force of copper ions transport from roots to shoots was likely to be the root pressure.
