The study ob- jective is to develop recommendations on change in running gears struc- ture and the system of body resting upon freight car truck for improving their dynamical properties and decreasing the wear of wheels and rails. The work used the methods for simulation and mathematical modelling, statistical dynamics and numerical integration. Obtained results - design circuit and mathematical model of freight car vibrations are defined mo- re exactly, software for theoretical investigations is corrected, recom- mendations for i mproving the running gears and the system of body resting upon truck are developed. Novelty of results is to evaluate an influence of injection of curved carbody central plates and truck cent- ral plates, some types of sliders, new nonlinear profiles of wheels roll surface on car dynamics.
