Determinations and analyses have been made of physico-chemical properties of raw stock and saleable phenol-containing products at the works and earlier technological conditions of their processing. Initial data are issued for designing a plant to treat phenol-containing intermediate products and to recover phenols from them. The recommendations include substantiation of the technological flowsheet analysis of the raw materials, ways of using waste materials and estimation of parameters of the basic equipment.
