The quality of the ceramics surface was studied with the help of the micrometer as wellas the profilograph and roughness indicator. The parameters of the mechanical treatment schedules for ceramic corundum elements of new complicated composite constructions are ascertained. The trial samples of a new composite constructions were produced. The work should be in progress in the research direction of mechanical treatment of new kinds of ultradense corundum ceramics produced using semidry pressing or other process.
