The research methods - chemical analysis, optical and electron microscopy, analyser of dispersivity ADK-03, standard procedure for the determination of porosity, apparent density, compression strength of products samples. The research on finishing and putting into production the mixtures composituons of chrome oxide refractories when combined using chrome oxide of different dispersivity and breakage of chrome oxide refractories. Optimal compositions of mixtures were established that made possible to produce experimental products as a normal brick with an open porosity 15,8 %, apparent density 4,31 g/cm3 and cold crushing strength 190 MPa. The work should go on in the direction of introducing developed compositions at the manufacture of chrome oxide refractories for glassmaking furnaces for the production of a glassfiber.
