The object of investigation: the life expectancy of the population living on the territories contaminated by radioactive fall-outs in the result of the Chernobyl catastrophe in Ukraine. Оn the basis of the component analysis, it has been discovered that contribution of the leading causes of death to forming the changes of AELE is: of somatical pathology 45-65 %, neoplazms 10-25 %, outside causes 10-45 % depending on sex, territory and the period of monitoring. The maximum loses expectancy of life (0.37 years) were observed in radioactive contaminated rayons from neoplazms in 1986-1990. The contribution mortality of the population at the age 20-60 years in the cutting down of AELE exceeds 85 %. The contribution mortality of male in the cutting down of AELE is more than 65 %.
