Head Rozenfel'd L.G., Registration Date 16-01-2002 Organization Grigor'ev Institut for Medical Radiology popup.description2 Subject of investigation: patients with breast cancer (15), cancer of female reproductive system (10), rectum cancer (6). Objectives: To work out new scientifically substantiated approaches to radio- and chemotherapy in the mode of minimum toxicity and prevention of complications in the normal target tissues to increase the efficacy of anti-tumor therapy. Меthods: general clinical studies, electrophysiological, immunological, statistical; microscopes, spectrophotometer, electrocardiography. Results: The dynamics of the parameters, which characterize the state of cardiovascular system and circadian fluctuations of axillary temperature in the investigated patients, were similar to those in healthy subjects. The indices of the peripheral blood in cancer patients follow a circadian rhythm with low-amplitude rhythms of fluctuations for erythrocytes, hemoglobin and thrombocytes. Circadian rhythms of fluctuations for leucocytes, relative amount of lymphocytes and neutrophils in the peripheral blood follow ci rcadian rhythms with high and low amplitudes irrespective of the localization of the tumor process and the stage of the disease. The circadian rhythm of the immune-competent cells in the peripheral blood demonstrated the presence of both common for all groups regularities and individual manifestations of the process. In the organism of cancer patients with different localization of the tumor, group circadian rhythms of the investigated homeostasis parameters are observed, but individual circadian rhythms are highly variable. Fields of application: medicine, oncology, radiology. Product Description popup.authors popup.nrat_date 2020-04-02 Close
