The new type of detector shape with chaotic dynamics of light rays is shown to be promising for the light yield increase and the decrease of its inhomogeneity, i.e. for the improvement of the system's total energy resolution. To develop the new dynamic method of calculations for the problems of light-collection optimization in detectors and light guides, a number of theoretical means is used.
