Experimental samples of Cd1-xZnxTe (x = 0.1-0.2) ~ 50 mm in diameter and 60-100 mm long have been obtained. Plates from 5x5x1 mm to 12x12x2 mm were prepared for investigations. These samples were analyzed by the methods of X-ray microanalysis, X-ray diffraction, selective chemical etching, laser mass-spectrometry, atomic-emission mass-spectrometry, IR-microscopy, low temperature photoluminescence. Detectors with high spectrometric characteristics have been fabricated.
