Optimum conditions were established for its operation provided the guality of the feed and working conditions are stable. Recommendations were ussed for operation of biochemical plant with possible deviations of guality indicts. Normal operation reguires consistency in the composition of phenol waste waters, their gualitative and guantitative indices. It is recommended to switch the biochemical plants to twostage theatment of phenol waste waters to reach better removel of phenols and longer residence time of waste waters due to complete use of all the air tanrs.
