Our goal is to exploit thermal treatment and hydroextrusion schedules. The techniques we use are mechanical testing, optical microscopy, mathematical simulation, strain measurement. We use high pressure equipment for hydroextrusion, strain measurement equipment, optical microscope. We investigate the possibility of hydro-extruding secondary aluminum alloys, determine optimal deformation schedules for the following alloys: A0, AMg2, AB87. We show that the AMK alloy does not have any potential for deformation. We obtain relationship that allow us to estimate the residual plasticity of alloys after the deformation. The novelty of this work is in defining optimal deformation schedules for alloys. We propose to use secondary aluminum alloy rods in the deoxidation phase of steel melting.
