The purpose of the work - the final finishing of the technology of the thixotrope low cement corundum spinel mix and its testing in a lining of the steelteeming ladles with out of furnace treatment of steel. The research on an influence of the grain and on amount of fused periclase on properties of low cement corundum spinel mix has been carred-out. In accordance with on optimal compjsition the trial lot of corundum spinel mix with a content of Al2O3 - 93,5%, MgO - 4,3%, CaO -2,0 %, thecold crushing strength of 1580oC is 147,1 n/mm2 was produced. At the plant "Dnieprospiezstal" the lining of 3 bottoms of steelteeming ladles with out of furnace treatment of stell were made from trial lot.
